Sheryl Mebane, researcher turned songwriter, is releasing the third song from her first solo music project, Love Lust Life. Body Listening is sexy indie soul and rap that gets you moving. Things kick off during Live with Sheryl on April 6, 2023 at 8pm EST for the single (out on 4/6) that puts the Lust in her new album.

With Body Listening, Sheryl had fun dabbling in her spoken word side, rapping and playing off a sexy guitar track from Elton Clifton. It will be promoted (interviews, live streams, etc.) in April. Sexy and rhythmic, Body Listening shares, “Sex can help you heal.” It and the rest of Sheryl’s Love Lust Life album grooves and has heart.
Sheryl is a songwriter, singer, drummer and more. She won awards and grants for writing and music and won grants for research. She played in or toured with jazz, rock, blues and alt rock bands plus played in and composed for Tangria Jazz Group. Tangria is sampled in her first Love Lust Life single, You Seem A Little Scared Of Me.
